My Background

I was born in a remote village by Poyang Lake, in China's Jiangxi province. There, I spent my earliest years under the care of my grandparents. My father, meanwhile, was working in Shenzhen, while my mother was in the pursuit of her doctorate in Shanghai. Their absence was a quiet space in my childhood, filled instead with the rustic rhythms of village life.

After they settled, my parents brought me to live with them. Years later, my little sister arrived, bringing a new, joyful light into our family.

My Interests

Chess

My passion for chess, a game of strategy on 64 squares, has always been more than a pastime; it is a language through which I understand the world. This passion naturally extends to the real-world theater of geopolitics. I see nations as pieces, and diplomatic moves as complex plays. However, while chess has fixed rules, geopolitics is an open-ended game of dynamic power and unpredictable consequences, which makes it endlessly compelling.

Playing badminton

When homework piles up, nothing clears my head like a fierce game of badminton. I love the sound of a solid smash, the thrill of a last-second dive, and the satisfying rhythm of a long rally. It's my ultimate way to sweat, laugh, and feel completely alive.
