Mentoring migrant children in chess.

“Chess Bridges” Inter-school Initiative

Founded Chess Bridges, mentoring migrant children in chess and strategic thinking. Built a supportive community by actively engaging their families. Fostered resilience and a sense of belonging beyond the board.

Migrant Children Anti-Bullying Project

Executed a grassroots study of bullying by collecting 1,600+ surveys from migrant children's schools. Uncovered systemic inequalities and co-designed practical interventions with an NGO partner. Demonstrated how research can bridge data and action to create meaningful social solutions.

I conceptualized a novel, non-invasive method to measure tear viscosity using surface acoustic waves. This low-cost and portable screening device is able to facilitate early diagnosis of eye conditions, particularly within vulnerable and occupational groups.
