I conceptualized a novel, non-invasive method to measure tear viscosity using surface acoustic waves. This low-cost and portable screening device is able to facilitate early diagnosis of eye conditions, particularly within vulnerable and occupational groups. This research project has advanced to the finals of the S.-T. Yau High School Science Award (TOP 10%).
